MPs’ business costs publication – 18 January
We would like to remind you that next week on Thursday 18 January 2024 we are due to publish details of MPs’ business costs for August and September 2023.
We publish these costs to provide members of the public with transparency over how public money is spent.
Please make sure you check your data before it is published, using the Publication preview service, and contact us with any questions or concerns if you think anything has been missed.
Customer user experience survey
We want to get your views on your experience with our front-end tools, including IPSA Online, and remind you a survey on this is still live at the link below.
It will take no more than five minutes to complete, and we will use your feedback to design the service we deliver to you.
The work we have already done has identified a range of potential opportunities for improvement, designed to help save you time and reduce duplication. These include improved budget tracking, access to centralised services such as property management, and a more efficient process of submitting claims.
MP staff wellness working group survey
Last year the Wellness Working Group undertook an anonymous survey of MPs’ staff to better understand how your job affects your well-being. The survey is still live using the link below and is completely anonymous, it should only take about 10 minutes to complete.
Please address any queries you may have to the lead researcher Dr Ashley Weinberg, who is an Occupational Psychologist at the University of Salford.
Take the wellness working group survey.
Payment card reminder
Following the urgent maintenance of IPSA Online last week, the 8 January Payment Card deadline was suspended. Instead, the November and December spend will both be due for reconciliation and approval by our Validation team by 8 February 2024.
Details of the December Payment Card spend have been uploaded onto IPSA Online.
Please reconcile any outstanding lines as soon as possible to avoid the risk of your card being suspended after this deadline.
Further information can be found in our Payment Card Policy and by visiting our guidance on reconciling your Payment Card.
