Bulletin, 4 August 2022 (data publication, payment card deadline, phasing out cheques)
Date published: 4 August 2022
On 15 September we plan to publish four months of data to bring us up-to-date with publication following our publication review. From September onwards, we plan to publish data every two months as we had done previously. You can find links to check your data below.
Thank you to everyone who completed the December pay survey to tell us whether you would prefer to be paid on the last working day of December or the week before. The survey closed on Friday and 73% of respondents would prefer to be paid on the last working day of December so this is the date we will continue to use.
This week's bulletin contains information on:
Data publication – February to May 2022
Payment card reminder – deadline 8 August
Phasing out cheques

You can find our payment card policy here.
Phasing out cheque repayments
Since the start of the pandemic, our people are working more flexibly from the office and home, and we have found that receiving and processing cheques creates delays and is no longer cost-effective given the small number of cheques we receive.
We are already in contact with some offices who send us cheques to understand the impact this will have. We are also looking into ways of helping MPs to make repayments more easily.
If you have any feedback about this change, please let us know.
