Letter to MPs, 28 May 2020

This letter from IPSA to MPs seeks responses to proposed temporary changes to the Scheme of MPs’ Business Costs and Expenses for 2020-21 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The proposed changes include:

• submitting claims without evidence

• additional funding for staffing costs

• homeworking allowance for MPs’ staff

Responses to the proposals should be submitted by 5 June 2020 to consultation@theipsa.org.uk.
